Why We Speak ~
This year we have seen the threats to our freedom and liberty increasing each passing day. Over the past 11 months, a slow but steady course to socialism that started with the “New Deal” has accelerated to warp speed with the government taking over all parts of our economy. Private companies are co-owned by unions and the government while investor’s rights and contracts are stepped on and squashed by this administration. There are so many examples of congress and the President ignoring the specific enumerated powers of the Constitution while giving the rest of us the finger (of course served with a big damn smile and promises of more to come). Suffice to say, it all really reeks of rotten people and selfish schemes with the slickness of professional thugs and cons that hunger for power and authority no matter the cost… they cannot be sated. They seem not to care that they are creating the conditions that will lead to the eventual demise of our society as we have had the pleasure to know it, that so many died to protect, and that our children and grandchildren may never know. What arrogance this Administration has to leave so much debt to those not yet even born, to take monies not yet earned and to ensure conditions that will make obtaining any sort of wealth impossible. It is difficult to wrap our mind around the concept that our American President and his likeminded minions are deliberately bringing us down from within.
It is an inexcusable shame the legacy that our generation will be leaving the next. In the name of compassion and equality, the policies of the statist reaffirm to the lazy and self-important, the delusion of entitlement. When did our country decide that Liberty was too hard to work for and maintain? When did we become so lazy and yet “entitled”? When did we decide that the simple existence of another human, obligated and indebted one man to pay for a strangers care and maintenance thereby denying care and maintenance to the tax providers own family? Since when do we appease our enemies and welcome them in to then destroy us from within? We are certainly not going to tolerate an American President who apologizes for this country while bowing before our enemies on foreign soil. ~ Dagny

This site will not only be updating daily news and events, but its contributors will be taking on the different issues taking place every day that must be confronted and exposed. The writers and posters are not professional writers or journalists (you may be able to tell as we believe it is the content, not the grammar that is of most importance). They are everyday, hard working Americans who are troubled by the direction of this fine nation. The site will also welcome other opinions and debate, not silence them. In fact, we are contemplating a page that encapsulates the “view from the left” with liberal views and opinions. As many Americans are concerned about the state of the economy and their finances, we will also be posting daily market information and more in depth analysis of markets and economic data. Basically, we wanted to create a place where citizens could express their frustration with others that truly love democracy, capitalism and freedom. ~ Brandon

I am first and foremost, A Conservative American Woman. I am a 43-year-old happily divorced/single mother of 3 awesome people. My son is 23, and I have two daughters 12 & 10 years of age. My son serves in the United States Air Force and is currently serving his second tour overseas. I have been involved with a most awesome man for the past 5 years and he is my rock. There is nothing in the world more important to me then these people. And I have never feared the future more, especially for our children. What I see on the horizon is sheer misery and it is being created and sanctioned now by our own President, this Congress, the Senate as well as our judiciary system.
I feel compelled to speak out. How can I not? How can any of us sit silently and allow so great a Nation to fall into complete demise. If our men and women can go before bullets and bombs to protect this nation; then we are doing them a grave disservice to sit by quietly and do nothing. We owe it to them to do our part here.

Introduced to politics in the late 70’s by my Dad’s admiration for Ronald Reagan, I developed a strong conservative view and ideology that defines me as a person. I am in my early 40s and have a lovely family with 2 small children, was born and raised on the East Coast and now reside several thousand miles away, on the West Coast. I did not develop this site because I lost my job, have insurmountable bills or can’t pay for health insurance and am angry at someone else because of any misfortune I may have. I actually make a very good living, live in a nice suburb and my kids go to private school, I am quite fortunate…but all that I have was accomplished through hard work, determination and the concept we know as “capitalism”. In fact, it took me eleven years to complete an undergraduate degree and several years after to finish graduate school and advanced financial education…at night, while working sixty hours a week. We created this site because we believe strongly in personal responsibility, capitalism and the constitution. I believe in supply-side economics, not trickle-up economics and am infuriated at the mainstream media and their decision to anoint a Marxist ideologue to the highest office in the land and hope to inform people of the facts with this forum.
