What did I tell you…Schwarzenegger kissing up
Two days ago, I wrote about the Governor of California grading President Obama on a ridiculously steep grading scale (giving him an A)….concluding he was a RINO anyway and that it was probably an attempt to soften up Comrade in getting some federal aid, since California is on the verge of bankruptcy. Well, whattya know…from the LA Times:

Reporting from Sacramento – Facing a budget deficit of more than $20 billion, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is expected to call for deep reductions in already suffering local mass transit programs, renew his push to expand oil drilling off the Santa Barbara coast and appeal to Washington for billions of dollars in federal help, according to state officials and lobbyists familiar with the plan.
Apparently, Arnold got the memo that the White House was taking notice of who was supporting them in their efforts at Socializing our country and decided he wanted a piece of the pie. This is simply a “pay to play” government. Arnold is as big of a pussy as the rest of the Democrats. California cannot manage their way out of a phone booth, keeps spending money and taxing its residents, all the while asking for more money. If the federal government gives the state a dime it should be ashamed as it is basically throwing the money away…kinda like it was monopoly money…

Too funny. I believe California asked for federal dollars last time the bail out train was rolling. Too bad there weren’t any “moderate democrats” in the Senate from California or they could have gotten the Ben Nelson treatment.
